The guitar can be fabricated separately and reinforced at its connection points before being aligned with the hands and torso. Base & Installation

The wide integrated foot/base area is important to this sculpture because the figure has a relatively tall and narrow profile.

For a larger outdoor version, we recommend designing the base and anchor system together with the sculpture rather than adding fixing points after fabrication. The internal reinforcement can terminate at a concealed metal plate or mounting structure inside the base, allowing the sculpture to be mechanically secured to a prepared concrete foundation.

Depending on the project, installation can be arranged as:

Concrete foundation → embedded anchor bolts → concealed base plate → internal steel structure → fiberglass outer shell

For indoor installations, the base can instead be adapted to a finished floor, platform, or custom plinth.

Large FRP sculptures should have the anchor layout, lifting points, section joints, and installation route considered before fabrication, particularly when the sculpture will be exposed to wind or public interaction.
